Well, i finally made it all the way down to Bolivia. It has been a very challenging first day, but it has definetly been worth it. I arrived in Boliva at 5:00 in the morning ready to face the day. Little did i know that the 13,000 ft of altitude is very trying on your body. It was interesting walking up the stair of the house i am staying at and being out of breathe. However, we have God to thank for everybody on our trip becoming acclimated so quickly and none of us got sick (only a few headaches). We were able to spend all day surveying El Alto and La Paz. They are unlike any cities i have ever seen. For one they are located on the top of the Andes mountains which creates a view like i have never seen before. The cities are also unique because of the influence from the indigenous people.

Reid,
I saw coach Couch today, and he told me to say "Hello". He said he had a friend that was a world traveler, and the most beautiful place in the world was on top of a mountain in Lima, Peru looking down on a glacier. He said you should try to find it.!
The guys are out playing golf today, and I am headed to a meeting. Thinking and praying for you!!
